Lost property

If you have lost or forgotten something on a bus, a train or tram, or the Metro, you are not alone. Every day approximately 300 items come to our lost property department.

The best way for you to see if we have found your item is to come in to our office, particularly if you have forgotten gloves, umbrellas or other common items. If you have forgotten something more unusual, you can call us. You can also write to us by filling out our web form. (Instructions are default in Swedish.)

It can take up to ten days before we receive your lost item.

Due to the coronavirus outbreak, the Lost property office will not handle gloves, mittens and scarves for the time being. This is according to routines recommended by the Swedish Public Health Agency (Folkhälsomyndigheten) and will be in effect until further notice.

If you have lost something else in the public transport system, you can call +46 (0)8 600 10 00 and make sure your lost item is at the office, before coming in to pick it up, to minimise any unnecessary contacts.

If you discover that you have just forgotten a valuable item or similar, you can call Customer Services, and we will try and help you. Press 9 for information in English, or simply say "lost and found" when you get through. The Customer Services and Lost property have the same telephone number.
