Travel to and from Arlanda Airport
It is possible to use the regular commuter rail service to travel to and from Arlanda, catching the trains between Uppsala and Stockholm.
There is a fee for passing to and from the trains and the airport terminal at Arlanda. If you have a valid SL ticket, you just pay the passage supplement fee.
You pay adult fare if you are between 20 and 64 years old. You pay the discounted fare if you are over 65 years of age, a student holding a Swedish student identity card with the SL logotype, or if you are under 20 years of age.
- Single journey SL ticket including passage supplement fee: SEK 150 (adult); SEK 120 (discounted fare)
- Passage supplement fee (if you already have an SL ticket of any sort): SEK 120* (all over 18 years of age)
* If you are under the age of 18 you don't have to pay the passage fee at all. There is no discount for elderly persons over the age of 65, or students.
SL tickets are not valid on the Arlanda Express train, as the Arlanda Express is not operated by SL.
