Stockholm Transport Museum is the County of Stockholm’s museum on public transport. It is the most comprehensive collection in Sweden and shows the importance of public transport for the Stockholm region.
You can have a go at driving a Metro through the tunnels. And the youngest visitors can take a tour on the Mini Metro, or have a go at punching tickets like a real conductor.
At Stockholm Transport Museum, we also organise photographic exhibitions with historical images of Stockholm.
The museum is located at Tegelviksgatan 22, and the easiest way to get there is by taking the number 2 bus or number 66 bus. The bus stop you get off at is called ‘Spårvägsmuseet’.
Listen your way through the exhibition
You can borrow an audioguide and listen your way through the exhibition. You can also prepare your visit and download the audioguide for free and use your own mediaplayer or mobile phone.
