SL's website has been on the Internet since 2 March 1998. The current version was launched 7 June 2010.

Cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your computer by the web site you visit.

There are so-called session cookies used temporarily, that will disappear when you leave the site. There are cookies that are stored for a specified time or until you erase them from your computer. These cookies are used on the website to remember what settings you have made on previous visits.

The cookies we use on sl.se is to simplify for you, but you can use the site even if you have set your browser to not save any cookies.

To log into the My SL account, you must accept cookies, otherwise we cannot keep track of which account that is active from your browser. This session cookie disappears automatically when you log out.

If you choose to check the box "Remember me" when you log into My SL, a cookie will remember that you are logged in again next time you visit us. The cookie is deleted if you click on the Sign Out link, and follow the instructions there.

The Journey planner uses a cookie that keeps track of which stops you asked for the last time you visited. 

Sometimes we conduct surveys on the web. A cookie keeps track of you if you answered the questions or if you do not want to be involved in the survey. Our web statistics tool saves a cookie on your computer, as well.

Screen Resolution

Screen resolution indicates the number of pixels (bright spots) which can be displayed on your monitor (number of horizontal pixels X vertical range). This affects how much you can see of the page content simultaneously. sl.se is designed for 1024x768 resolution. If you have Windows, change this by right clicking the desktop and choose Properties, then Settings.  

Accessability

We continually strive to make the website as accessible as possible, according to the WAI (WCAG 2.0).

You can adjust the font size using your browser (Microsoft Internet Explorer, this is the View menu and is called Text size).
